Jensen Family Reunion

Tim & I went to the Jensen Family reunion the weekend before the 24th.  (For those of you that don't know that's Tim's Mom's Mother's side of the family.)  We go camping near Burley, Idaho every year.  Grandma Dee and Gwen always put some much thought and love into the reunion.  This year was a birthday party theme.  They gave out cute invitations with a balloon attached to each family. We all got cake stands and decorated no calorie cakes. (made from towels)  We also exchanged presents, played games and went to the lake.  Tim tried to teach Kiska how to swim.  That was an epic fail.  Poor Kiska couldn't swim to save her life.  She loves the water but won't go past her chest.  A big thank you to Grandma Dee and Gwen for all their hard work.  Love you!

History:  Here's a little story about the first family reunion I went to with Tim.  In 2009 Tim and I started dating.  Our anniversary was June 12. (I can't believe it's already been 3 years!)  Tim took me to the family reunion in July.  I had never met his parents, let alone his extended family.  When we got there it was night time.  All of his cousins were getting ready to go play spotlight.  It's a night game they play every year.  Tim pretty much said, "Hey Mom this is Heather.  Heather, Mom."..."Babe I'm going to go play spotlight, see you when I get back." He didn't even invite me to go with him. lol.  There I was standing by the fire....alone.  Luckily his Mom and Aunt Sandy are really friendly.  They made me feel right at home. Hours later Tim came back. He didn't even realize what he did.

Really Tim???  Good thing I love him so much!

He's never going to live this one down....

Such a gorgeous sunset

Flying Solo in Jordanelle

A few weekends ago I spent the weekend in Jordanelle with Sean, Audree, the boys and some friends. Tim went to Bear Lake Friday night for Drew's birthday and came home Saturday since he had to work the next day....hence the flying solo. Annnd of course the weather didn't want to cooperate. It's been HAWT, sunny and beautiful all week long & then when we decide to go to the lake and BAMMM it's freezing, cloudy and WINDY. Typical. LOL. But of course we made the most of it. :)  I spent the weekend catching up on sleep, making s'mores, fireworks, & spending time with the fam. Deionn brought her "party island" which we took out for a trail run before Lake Powell. I can't wait to lay out in the sun with a cocktail in my hand in Powell. Four and a half weeks && counting. :)

Independence Day

On the 4th of July we took Austin, Jaron && Landon to the Millcreek parade.  It's a Barney tradition (Tim's Mom's Fam) to go over to his Grandma Dee & Grandpa Max's house.  They live a couple blocks from the parade.  The boys got A LOT of candy.  Enough to make their teeth rotten. :)  Then we went to the Jr. High near by to eat breakfast.

During the afternoon we went over to Kandis' parent's house.  We soaked up some sun, poolside & playing volleyball.  Happy 4th of July!

Timone:: Daisy Duke Party @ Hotel

Thank you to everyone that came out for the Daisy Duke party at Hotel.  It was a great night filled with diRRRty house music brought to you by Timone, daisy dukes && cowboy boots!  The club was packed and HAWT!  I pulled my hair up and danced the night away.  Such a fun night with the best friend's a girl could have. :)

The Big Room Get Down - Timone

Here's Tim's latest mix.  Listen. Download. <-----Just do it.

 Happy BiRRffday Desi!
I went on a all girl's roadtrip down to sin city to celebrate one of my bff's birthday.  (Thank you Patricki for letting us use your time share!) We started off the weekend by going to Surrender Friday night for our weekly house music fix.  Saturday we spent the day by the pool. We saw Starkillers at Rehab, Hard Rock.  Ahh-mazing! Saturday night we walked the strip.  I love people watching in Vegas.  It's even better than airports.
Highlights:
-$1 margaritas
-The Sugar Factory (Is that what I sound like?..So funny!)
-Singing the rape song to a random promoter, not by choice...but through peer pressure. (Get in my pocket Ajaya!)

Overall the weekend was a success!  Happy Birthday Desi! :)
